We are happy to answer all questions. Our raw current-age comic books are in NM or better condition unless otherwise noted in the listing or in the pull-down menu for a specific book. We do our best to keep them. Free from environmental stresses and other potential damage. We may suggest a range when describing the condition of older raw books.

Any comments regarding the condition of raw books is based on our experience and opinion, and can only be an estimate. Please review photos carefully and judge for yourself. Graded, Authenticated & Encapsulated Books.

We are not professional graders. And do not speculate on numerical grades, but must count on CGC/CBCS etc.

We verify all of our CGC slabbed books through CGC verification services, and include a photograph of that information in our photo gallery for your convenience. Only the book or books listed in the header are for sale.

Where you choose variants or combinations from a drop down menu, only the book/s listed on the line you have chosen are for sale. Except for stock photos, which we may use from time to time, especially in drop down menus as reference, our photo gallery shows the item/s you will receive and is an essential part of the description & condition of the item. Signed & slabbed books are always photographed. If we report that a book has been optioned for a movie or series, a movie/series has been cast etc. This is the best information to our knowledge.

We cannot take responsibility for projects that are postponed, cancelled or otherwise changed or rejiggered. We will never knowingly mislead you on a listing, but we are only human.

No matter how mint a book might appear, we cannot guarantee 9.8s. Even the third-party grading companies cannot agree with themselves. If you must have a 9.8 or higher, please add CGC (or similar) to your searches.

We love to give enthusiastic & perfect feedback! We appreciate your business and pride ourselves on customer service and communication. However, if you bring us a well-documented case, we will consider it. Take photos of any damage to the item. Please pack the item with the utmost care.

Consult with us if you are not experienced at packing comic books. We habitually video-tape and photographed our packaging of the raw books we send out for grading & encapsulation. We find that this extra step in documentation goes a long way in quelling any potential dispute however rare.

In the unlikely case that the condition of your item has changed in any way since it was listed, or if we should discover something we were not aware of at the time of listing, we will notify you immediately to discuss available options. Signed, uncertified editions may or may not come with a Certificate of Authenticity C. Where there is a COA, the book has usually been witnessed & sealed at the time of signing.

When available, a scan or photo of the COA will be included in the photo gallery. We do not tamper with or break these seals because they authenticate the signature & provenance and ensure the integrity of the book. The seals, COAs, inserts, cards & other original accessories to a book are also integral to the value of a book that may be certified at a future date.

We must assume that you might decide to do so. Since completeness & condition are so essential to a books value, accompanying items (within & outside the book where applicable) must not be lost or damaged. COAs, 3D glasses, poly-bags, posters, stamps/value stamps, cards etc. Are often referenced on the final label of a certified/authenticated (slabbed) item, and are mailed back to their owner along with the newly encapsulated book. Damage to these items results in a book receiving an inferior grade, a grade notating damage, an inferior grading classification & label, or no grade at all.

All of this is at the third-party graders discretion; we have no control over it. So, please be aware of these factors when unpacking & examining your item. Again, please do not break the seals on books with COAs, poly-bags or other varieties of branding & packaging, as this will irreparably damage the integrity and value of the book and its variant pedigree. It will be considered damaged.

Thank you for your understanding. They also help prevent damage due to fading. Normal wear, including rubbing, scratching & even small holes can be expected and does not necessarily deter from the value of the contents, as long as they remain sealed inside. While CGC does notate that a book has been removed from the poly-bag on their certified labels, damage to the poly-bag itself is not reported. A note on CGC/CBCS and other third-party encapsulation cases.

While we make every effort to photograph and/or note any significant damage to cases, any CGC/CBCS or other third party case may display minor imperfections including Newton rings, slight inner wall scuffing [present at time of encapsulation], and sometimes even surface flaws [minor scratches/scuffing]. We store our slabbed books very carefully to avoid any additional damage following encapsulation, but cannot help marks that come straight from the grader.
