Amazing Spider Man 1 CGC 2.5 5.0 Silver Age Grail

  

Here is your chance for an amazing book. I bought this book 15 years ago sent it to CGC in about 2003. The book came back at 5.0 restored with a professional spine split seal.

I sent this book to CGC two months ago to have them remove the restoration professionally and perfectly. I have included pictures of the book when it was a 5.0. So I can confidently say this book looks like a 5.0. Actually at the time this book was graded CGC was a little bit tougher so my opinion is that this book has the eye appeal of a CGC 5.5.

The slight softening of CGC's grading standards is further evident in the grading of the page quality 15 years ago this book was assigned off white page quality now it was assigned off white to white page quality basically one grade higher on the page quality. I can guarantee that you will never find a 2.5 that looks this nice. Most 2.5's have large pieces missing heavy staining etc.

This is a blue chip investment grade comic that will only go up and never go down. I also have a CGC 5.0 and CGC 5.5. I'm going to sell one more of those books and keep one.

Looking to move into another high grade silver age book or two just to diversify a bit. I will also entertain trades either up or down for other CGC graded Silver or Bronze Age Mega Keys.
