Amazing Spider-Man 238 CGC 9.8 Old Modern Red Label First Hobgoblin 1983

  
Amazing Spider-Man #238 featuring the first Hobgoblin 0001709003. CGC graded at a 9.8 with the old school red modern comic label. No need for that with this book as it passed through CGC nearly 18 years ago and got their 9.8 opinion.

The corners on this book are razor sharp! There is a small spine tick but not bad enough to knock this book down a notch. The case itself shows some wear from being nearly 18 years old.

I included a picture of a small half-circle scratch on the front of the case that I never noticed until taking pictures. The back of the case has some wear marks as if it had laid flat on another surface and received some wear. I thought about having it reholdered, but wasn't sure if I'd lose the red label in doing so. I've been burned one too many times.
